Clay iPhone
Just two days ago I started making my technology clay model, which is a iPhone. At first I found it difficult to make a iPhone out of clay, but then as I got started and kept going then I finally got the feeling that it was easy. Hours came, minutes and seconds and I still needed some more time to get it done. But in the end I still managed to finish it.
Goosebumps Book Study
A few days ago, room 11 done a book study about Goosebumps. The whole class divided into four groups, each group were told to make a presentation about the Goosebumps Book. When we had eventually finished our presentation we moved on to planning, drawing, colouring and dry fitting everything. After we've dry fitted them, the next thing we had to do, was to stick and glue all the Goosebumps items on. Our Goosebumps Book Study had to be handed in by Friday, lucky us we finished today.

Going to the pools
On Saturday I went to the Swimarsma pools at Panmure with my girl cousins. It was so fun because we were swimming at the pools from 11:00 to 2:30. I really enjoyed swimming with my cousins, and I'm so glad we got to go to the pools. I hope we get another chance to go some other times.

Touch Rugby Lessons
Today room 11 had our last touch rugby lesson, with the coach Trevor.
He taught us some touch rugby lessons, and got us to play some really cool and fun games. My favorite games were the Rabbit and Rat game. And the Passing balls game. When I was playing these games I laughed so hard that my belly button was sore, because it was so fun. Thanks to Trevor for being such a kind man, and for willing to come and teach us.

Shira's on the move
Shira the giraffe that was born two years ago will be moving away to a new place. The girrafe will be travelling by truck all the way to Christchurch, to Orana Park. In the truck, Shin will have a window for her to look through. And also for people to spot her on the road, riding to Christchurch. Well at least when the traffic light is red. Anyways, safe trip to Shina, and hope you'll be fine and you'll like it at your new place.

Beyonce Giselle Knowles-Carter
I’m inspired by Beyonce, and Beyonce's songs. I admire some of her lyrics, because it touches me in the heart, and I sometimes cry listening to it. Whenever I listen to her songs in relaxes me, and makes me feel free. There is many ways to describe the way I feel about Beyonce, but there is one special thing I would always say about her. I’d say that, I like her so bad. I won’t ever be through with that, because honestly she turned out to be the best person I ever known.
Click on this link and listen to some of Beyonce’s awesome songs.

Class Garden
Thanks to some of the Tamaki college students they have helped us with our garden by digging the plants out. I would like to have some pretty flowers on my garden, not the flowers that would easily die. I want rose flowers, passion flowers, gazania, plumeria, chrysanthemum, dahlia, tulip, lilies, magnolia, orchids, sunflowers and daffodils. All these flowers are such beautiful flowers they will make my class garden and the senior blog look so very beautiful.

I will make the athletics team
There is going to be a lot going on this term, so I will have to work as hard as I can to be able to succeed, because I feel like I didn't work as hard as I should in the last three terms. The one thing I am looking forward to the most, is athletics.
I've never been on the athletics team, but I've always wanted to be in it. I will have to work and practice hard to be a faster runner. I'll do my best to make the team, and if I don't, well at least I tried my best.

Sport's richest get richer
Sport’s Richest Get Richer
Created on September 22, 2015
The world’s highest-paid athletes are richer than those who dominated the same list 20 years ago, according to Forbes magazine.
Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are well clear in the latest Forbes annual list of the highest paid athletes. American Mayweather tops the list with earnings of $US300m ($NZ425m) – that includes salary and endorsements. Tiger Woods’ career has gone down the drain, but his earning potential remains high thanks to endorsements.
The top ranked woman comes in at 26th place with earnings of $42.2m – that being tennis star Maria Sharapova. In comparrison, Serena Williams is 20 places back, with earnings of $35m.
Russell Coutts is New Zealand’s richest athlete, earning $13m last year. This article is done by: Jo Banbury

Supporting the Tongan team
Last weekend the Rugby World Cup 2015 started, so my sisters, my mum and I decided that we should go out for breakfast at FORTUNA to support the the Tongan team, ( ‘Ikale Tahi ) and we did. The breakfast was really delicious and the Tongan team was a pretty cool team, although they lost their first match against Georgia and I was a bit disappointed, but I know they’ll try better next time.

My brave dad
My dad is someone special and someone that I really admire, he’s a strong person. My dad has been through a lot of hard moments, but he is very lucky because he has survived through it. My dad means a lot to me and I’d even die for him. If he dies there won’t be any points of living life without having a dad that kisses me at night and put me to sleep, look after me and love me. Dad had some tough moments in the past, like this other time he broke his right ankle, but he still managed to get up to take me to school, he still managed to go to our family events, church and school events and he could still managed to get up and cook food for me, when my mum was busy at work. It got to the moment that he was really sick and had to spend two months, at the hospital, but he survived through it because he is brave. My dad is one of a kind he is my love and my hero. I thank god everyday for giving me the best and loving dad that any kid would ask for. I love you dad!

I want to meet Beyonce
My favourite person in the whole world is Beyonce, because she is awesome and she is a role model for her fans and especially for her child. Beyonce is a great example for her fans, and she tells us to always follow our dreams, and listen to our heart because it will lead us to happiness.
If I ever meet this beautiful woman it would just be a breathtaking and unbelievable moment. Beyonce is someone I can look up to. She is one lucky lady that will always be in my favourite people list.

Term 3 Goals
Maths: I need to learn and memorise my times tables.
Writing: I need to stop talking about other things unless it’s about what we are writing so I can complete it on time.
Reading: I need to understand new words that I don’t know and stop adding in new words while I’m reading.

Madd Messengers
Yesterday room 11 and room 12 had this group called Mad Messengers coming in to room 8A to talk to us about how special each one of us are and how we can speak up for ourselves. The whole topic was based on "U TALK". It started off with a little act then we moved on to some activities. Then it finished off with the man drawing us a picture of Iron man. The Mad Messengers teaught me to try my best all the time and if I fail then I will get up and try again.

Shopping with my aunty
We got in the car and took off. My aunty told me that we were going to Pak N Save to get some baking ingredients for her daughter’s 21 birthday on Friday. We stopped by Mcdonald's to get something to eat on our way.
I was so excited because I love to bake and decorate cakes but then she told me that we were not going to bake the cake until Thursday night. Dream shattered. But, I still had fun.
